Cheney definitely lied many times about Iraq. As opposed to what Cheney claimed (after planting phony stories in the NY Times), Saddam had zero affiliation withn Al Qaida. Zero. Saddam did not have WMD. Saddam was not trying to build a nuclear bomb. He did not buy Yellow Cake in Niger. He did not have anyone meet Atta in Prague. He did not harbor Al Qaida training camps. He did not have missiles apable of reaching anywhere. In fact, as we now know, Saddam was more worried about the Islamics rising up against him than he was about the USA. That is proven in the latest batch of interviews with Saddam's former commanders. Saddam was a convenient scapegoat for Bush-Cheney, and they knew they could beat him easily. They also knew that once they did he was sitting on a lake of oil which thueir cronies could takem over and steal for themselves, while the US taxpayers pay for everything. These Bushies are crooks, pal, maybe the biggest in history. Notice how many hundreds of billions they've made off this war and the energy gouging, and how many billions are just missing.
