("Footfall": Niven/Pournelle) What IF a comet nailed the earth deep into and through the ocean bottom, and the resultant tidal waves and weather disruptions destroyed the coasts and put the entirety of any surviving humanity back into the most primitive conditions? ("Lucifer's Hammer": Niven/Pournelle-again) And those are just two of the better offerings (and two of my favorites) that are just as "REAL" as your global warming fraud.
