I am with TD Waterhouse which soon becomes TD Ameritrade. I am just like you. I have more than 100 transactions.

As long as you bring up Ameritrade, I may be in the process of switching from Fido to there.

How does one get ANO.T onto the watchlist for example? It takes ALIAF but not ANO. Same with dot V stocks as well

Any suggestions appreciated

Dick

BigDog - Gainskeeper is free with no transaction limit. Go to Portfolio tab, click on gain/loss tracking. It will bring back gainskeeper for Apex members.

You are not the only one missed it. Thanks anyer for bring this up and I have confirmed with an ameritrade rep this morning.

have fun.

You may need to be an Apex member and with that many trades you should have unlimited transactions. I had to trade my way out of a hole last year and made almost a million bucks worth of trades just for that and GK logged 'em all and cost me not a cent. My accountant liked the reports too but he still charged me the full $500.00 or so. I agree with others that using a good tax firm is worth the modest cost in return for the peace of mind. Not to mention the PITA associated with things like LTD partnerships, etc. A fair flat tax that includes state and local taxes in a transparent system is what I want-then I'll do my own taxes again and happily pay them. I've been where you don't make enough money to pay taxes-I'd rather pay 'em. ken, ending Sat. rant
