My husband is a fiend when it comes to issues involving water pollution. He did his thesis on ground water- and the movement of plumes of pollutants in an aquifer. He did some sort of research at Mono lake too- and I was actually with him, but it was so damn cold, and I was so uncomfortable, I remember nothing of this adventure, except for the coyote that paced us as we slogged through hip deep snow. It was a little guy, but he was clearly wishing he was bigger or we were smaller...
