Scratchy said I do not think they (missionaries) are requiring folks to convert before helping them... maybe more like hey we help folks check us out if you want... as opposed to the join us or die guys so common over there... Yeah yeah that join us or die stuff was a pretty prevalent Christian axiom too a long time ago.. No the local law is convert and you die. It is illegal to convert in Afghanistan, if you are a Muslim, you have no option but to die a Muslim. As for the Pacifists, what would have happened if a half dozen of their captors or worse a half dozen of our guys had been killed in freeing them.
