sandintoes, I AM impressed. I had a heck of a time with metes and bounds. I'd get half way through the quesiton (sometimes not even that far) and have to ask myself, "What was the question again?" Learning metes and bounds, for me, was a horrid bit of torture.

I remember thinking at the time that no one uses metes and bounds in property descriptions, that everything is described in subdivisions and lot numbers. Who needs to learn this stuff?

Well, shortly after this class, I had occasion to look at a 12-acre piece of property, which was--you guessed it--described in metes and bounds. I almost LOLed at myself and my ignorance. - Holly
