I listened to the last of it on the radio. Did you watch it on TV?

We live just off Braddock Road near Mason. On the way home from shopping I was going to get Ben to run into the GMU library to get me a book I want, but the entire campus is full of celebrating students, including the campus streets. Jammed with cars full of kids honking horns and waving flags and shouting and carrying on.

I've never seen anything like it, especially considering it's Sunday. I went to LSU undergrad for a couple of years, when LSU won they didn't get this excited.

My kids asked me who I would root for if LSU plays Mason. Mason, of course.

I'm halfway through an MA in History at Mason but not taking courses every semester. The school keeps getting bigger and having more money every year. Not surprising considering how much money in Northern VA. Actually, it's surprising it took so long for the locals to start taking the place seriously and trying to make it better.

That was amazing. Considering the amount of money one institution pays for athletics, its comparable to the USA getting its ass kicked in some third world country. That never happens.
