Yes, every year that goes by the genetic componant would go down, as the crap introduced is simply crap for everyone. BUT, using more proper diet there MAY indeed by some very large genetic componants (historic?) to what various groups should/ should not be eating. I say MAY because all the geneticists are futzing around looking for the "obesity gene" with all those high powered computeres instead of doing proper dietary research.

My understanding of all this is that the above is unknown... there has been little research done that I've seen... there is plenty of speculation that different historic paths mean different optimal diets, but nothing I've seen is conclusive either way...
