Grandie just said this morning we have some real dingbats out in this world.

Remember what Orwell said about thinking 2 entirely different contradicting thoughts and believing both at the same time.

Grandie says the market thinks builders will go up because interest rates will stop increasing or go down. At the same time the market thinks banks will go up because interest rates will go up and make banks richer. He doesn't understand how the market holds both these conflicting views at the same time and what a fraud the efficient market hypothesis is.

Grandie says you will survive not by focusing only on homeruns - but by getting one base at a time. Traders that hit lots of singles beat out those always chasing homeruns over time.

I am more excited about heart friendly bacon than any money I could make in the stock market this morning - I guess my priorities are really screwed up - hehe.
