I gave some thought to Jane Galt's healthcare proposal. I like the objectives she laid out. I think those are the right ones. I don't know how well the proposal meets them. I don't see how her proposal would separate employment from healthcare, for example. But it seems to me she has made a promising start. Being an economist, you'd think she would have costed it out. I don't see how you can evaluate anything in the health care arena that hasn't been costed.
