Believe me, clueless Swede, it happened before they arrived, and it will still happen after they're gone.

Who do you think does landscaping in the 80% of the rest of the country that doesn't have very many hispanics? CA is not like the rest of the country except for maybe FLA. Most people do their own landscaping/mowing........of course those chores don't have to be done 12 mos of the year like in CA. Up here, I've seen Anglo, Latino and Asian gardners......no one group predominates.
