When was that? Back in the early 70s? Believe me, Tijuana has changed since then. But I liked it back in tha late 60s before thwy "cleaned it up". Used to stay over night at Leon Motel or Caesars. Go to the Jai Halai, have my drinks, stay out of trouble and go to bed slightly intoxicated (drinks only).

Those breads then next morning with whole jalapenos in them really woke one up. And as the Danes say "truly removed the spider web in front of your a..hole"...

LOL

I used to live in San Diego country. Compared to Austin, it's Mexican food is only ok. I also used to eat in Tijuana sometimes, but quit when I saw them dump the unused dipping sauce back into the pot, then dump the uneaten chips back in the bin. Very efficient, but not my cup of tea!

I guess its what you're used to.......I much prefer CA Mexican [in LA] over Tex Mex.
