Wind power 'ahead of predictions'
Onshore wind farms will provide about 5% of Britain's electricity by 2010, according to the British Wind Energy Association (BWEA).

In a new report, it says turbines are being installed faster than predicted.

If this is correct, onshore wind farms will take the government halfway to its target of generating 10% of electricity from renewable sources by 2010.

The report comes a day before the government unveils a major review of its climate change policies.

Entitled Onshore Wind: Powering Ahead, the report claims to be the most comprehensive assessment of the UK's onshore wind sector ever undertaken.

It forms part of the BWEA's response to another ongoing government review on energy which is due to conclude in the middle of the year.

"Polluters Contaminating America's Waters: 62 Percent Exceed Pollution Limits in Recent 18-Month Period

WASHINGTON - March 23 - More than 62 percent of industrial and municipal facilities across the country discharged more pollution into U.S. waterways than their Clean Water Act permits allowed between July 2003 and December 2004, according to "Troubled Waters: An Analysis Of Clean Water Act Compliance", a new report released today by U.S. PIRG.

“Polluters are using America's waters as their dumping ground. Instead of solving the problem, the Bush administration has repeatedly shortchanged the EPA's budget and is undermining essential clean water programs,” said U.S. PIRG Clean Water Advocate Christy Leavitt."

I am not making a connection between Bush and Hitler even though grandfather was forced by a court to stop selling arms to the Nazis, even though the Bush family had years of dealing with the Nazis, even though the Bush family is intimately involved in Saudi Arabia financially through the Carlyle Group.

How stupid do you have to be to believe I am not making comparisons between Hitler and Bush?

Answer: Stupid enough to believe Bush did not try to connect Iraq to AlQuada and 911 to justify the Iraq invasion.
