Not every nation has an "wide-open door" policy to all imports.

Among other items, Australia prohibits banana imports. Which means there will be no bananas in the stores, for the next nine months.

Since a cyclone, a few weeks ago, hit Innisfail (Queensland just south of Cairns), which is surrounded by Australia's banana plantations.
