As for as your imputed "pattern," it's been clear for some time on SI that my posts give ardent right wing posters a problem I wouldn't call Karen an ardent right wing poster. Not by my ideological thermometer. And she seems to recognize the same pattern I see. I can see that you are well set in your ways, impossible to change, so enough. Let folks judge for themselves.

Like many of our exchanges it's clear that she likes/needs a great deal more detail than I do. Actually, I'm not a detail person at all. Strictly an upper-right-brained, big-picture sort of gal, very impatient with detail. What I am is particular about is focus and clarity. I like incisiveness. I don't like meandering, obfuscation, sloppy thinking, misdirection, obtuseness, stonewalling, and the like. So you can see why I have a need to address your point about "detail" for the record. <g> Incisiveness is something quite different from attention to detail.
