I don't think I can think of anyone in Hollywood with more ideas than Clooney (writer, director, producer)- well maybe Lars Von Trier, who is also brilliant.

Now if you want to say people have no ideas, let's start with the doofusses (did you know doofuss is in the dictionary now? This isn't a joke- it really is) who make the bad teen comedies. There ARE people in Hollywood with no ideas, or people with bad ideas, but the creative Clooney isn't one of those people. No doubt he is annoying to some people because he is successful and has so MANY ideas, but to say he hasn't any isn't just partisan, it's incorrect- which is really why I mentioned it. But it's the tall blade of grass that often stands out. So if I were Clooney reading stuff like that, I'd smile pretty, and know I was making a pretty big impact.

Unnecessarily snarky, too.

If you meant caustic, I will agree. Snarky is an inaccurate choice of words since it means to be short-tempered.
