I would like to point out that I was not supporting everything the Republicans do, I was addressing Kenny's incorrect post. That said, on your comments:

"This administration created a massive new prescription drug benefit entitlement (socialism??) that is going to cost five times the original estimate and is available to EVERYONE on Medicare."

Apparently it is working pretty well for seniors (if saving them money is the goal), despite howls from the dems that it is not (scare tactics). But it does make us more socialist. Kenny's "plan" was to take more money from the folks who earn it. Simplistic, unfair and divisive. Oh, and it doesn't work.

"This administration has allowed pork at a record rate,"
Government in general does this. Kenny's "solution" was to give them more of our hard earned money to spend. Makes no sense to me.

"Domestic spending, (and I mean discretionary spending) is way up, much higher as a percentage increase than under democratic administrations."

The repubs claim this is not true. Anything to back this up? I just heard Bush say today that discretionary spending increases are the smallest in a long time (don't remember the exact stats). Prove your charge here if possible.

"This president chooses to take no action on even the worst bills...no vetos"

Not sure this is bad. Any examples of bills he should have vetoed.

"Republicans can't run on their record in this area. It stinks."

The government in general is too inept and corrupt to run anyone's lives (although they seem to do good for themselves). The republican emphasis on self reliance and hard work are better messages than the divisive and hateful messages that the dems put out. Many of the dem leaders today are actually siding with our enemy in our current war on terror. That to me is unforgivable and really pales in comparison to charges that Bush has not vetoed enough bills and created a new entitlement for our older folks (which is a good group to help if you have to give handouts).
