Hi OX,

I've often wondered about them overshooting as much as they do.

I think they set up the truly rich.

Higher rates at a cycle top are a great fixed income.

Not only is it fixed income but as the economy stumbles and rates go to zero to reprime.

The yields on the bonds goes down so the face value of the bond goes up. Perfect time for the truly wealthy to sell the bonds at a capital gains taxation rate and reinvest at the bottom with efficient low tax dollars returning.

Its a favor paid to the Kennedy's of the world who only live to serve the public - and live off the trust funds their daddies set up.
