this time around, WE will have the metal traders, and the Saudis, the China bank certificate desks, the superconductor wire crowd, the nano-silver tech germ killing refrigerators from Samsung, and I would imagine at least two ETFs, plus a whole generation of internet-enabled private traders :0)

I would say the odds are that ... well, silver will not crash for a while :0)
