Playtech, which provides the casino software for NoblePoker, TitanPoker, and Golden Palace, among others, just went public on the London Stock Aim Market. No trading or symbol yet, but keep posted. This could be a good one. A rapidly growing base with lots of room to take market share. The software is the most enjoyable in the poker biz, but can sometimes be unreliable. Still, I think the stock could be a buy depending on price. pokernews.com

PokerStars has just signed up its 5 millionth player. pokernews.com

I don't know how they count these things and how many of these are playing the free tables. But, no matter how you count it, that's one heck of a lot of players.
