Ombudsmans The one concerning the Crown Corp doing property assessments ? I only heard a sound bite on 680 this evening... Didn't seem too flattering though.. I have a rental house in a kinda Crappy area, it wasn't bad when the house was purchased in the 1950's but the area did not go up hill....... anyway it's assessment went up 40% now that they built a sawmill across the street. 3 years ago, i thought to sell it, and the real estate agent told me all I would get is the value of the lot, and that was with a new roof on it. I never thought building a sawmill with all the sawdust that comes across the street would be a bonus....
