Bill, I agree with you on the "interesting times" scenario. Keep this in mind. 100 years ago horses and buggies were still the main mode of transportation, man had not yet flown an airplane, electricity was in its infancy, radio was a new invention, movies were just beginning, the telephone was the most sophisticated electronic device, the telegraph was still the main mode of long distance communication, trains and ships were the main mode of long distance transportation, there were no paved roads, there were no sky scrapers, steam engines ruled as the main power source, oil lamps were the main light source, there were no antibiotics, automobiles were a newfangled invention the average life expectancy was around 45 years..... Look what a mess we have now! LOL!
