NYT Times front page today says that the admin now nixes the current PM. There are more sunni deaths from pms power broker sadrs militia than from sunni militants. Now we are for regime change (again) in iraq. We havent won diddly in iraq but this committment of american lives and treasure must have an end date to have continued limited support of americans. US/IRAN talks may provide results. IF i am not mistaken the iranians would prefer the other shiaa candidate who was beaten by one vote. They too are or s/b uneasy with al sadr's influence. There was a reported attempt the other day of a possible attempt to capture or kill al sadr. You wont be able to diffuse the sunni insurgency with al sadr running loose and i am sure there are other militias giving us problems as well. If al sadr stays safe and the currrent pm remains in power, we will have no choice to get out of the way of the coming civil war.
