An arab friend of mine once told me that the US is lucky. We dont have north african arabs and the palestinians who emigrated here are mostly Christian. Also our Pakistanis for the most part integrated into an upwardly mobile South Asian group. In France there are north africans, in england pakistanis and in other areas muslims form palestine. In germany there are turks who have been treated as an underclass and so have been radicalized to some degree. Thats what we have to be careful with regarding immigration. The other day i said i couldnt get my arms around immigration issue and i was chastised by Gooooogo. I am trying to understand it and support the 11 year plan but i dont support amnesty and i dont support guest worker/underclass that business is for. Leave the minimum wage where it is for awhile longer and give the applicants for the 11 year plan clear id like a passport and criminalize employers who refuse to hire from that pool. Mike
