But does the FDA approval announced today skew the importance of past performance of the stock?

Hi Mark, Sorry, haven't been reading the boards much today for I've been concentrating on my daytrades. Trading DCEL mainly today. I did look at NGEN and thought about trading it this morning when I saw the run in premarket, but changed my mind. When I make my decision regarding momos, I look at the daily chart first and see if I think it has more juice left. NGEN had hit a trendline I'd had as a target, so wasn't sure it'd do more than that premarket HOD which I believe was 3.45. (BTW, I had shares I sold at 3.41.) Now, didn't mean there wasn't money to be made intraday trading of NGEN, but as I said, I like the ones that I believe are going to a new higher target and I was of the belief it would pull back first. Course if it passes the current HOD of 3.43 with volume, that would change the game. Fibs for today: Use the low of yesterday and the first HOD before a retrace. (2.66 - 3.43) .382 = 3.135 ======LOD was 3.15...so .382 indicates strength.:) .50 = 3.045 .618 = 2.95 .786 = 2.82 ============= Now if it passes the HOD here are the fib extensions: 1.27 = 3.639 1.618 = 3.905 *Note: For fib extensions, you often go with the 1.27 unless there are many candles that are large candles and a wild upward movement. Okay, hope you make lots of money. Sorry I didn't see it earlier. Next time if you want my attention, please post to me and then I'll see it when I look at my mail since I can't read all the posts and do daytrading. Lexi
