One thing we shouldnt do is pass punitive legislation that cant be enforced.

We definitely should enforce the laws we already have.

But I'm tending to favor this guest worker concept. And if they come here to work, they should either have their employer provide health insurance, or be self-insured. No guest worker should be entitled to health insurance automatically when it's paid by the Americans who have to pay already high health insurance premiums.

As for hostile populations, are they Americans, or Mexicans?

If I go to Mexico, I'm likely to be required to pay in advance for health care, and I'm quite likely to be denied care if I don't pay.

So why are we any different towards non-US citizens in this country?

I'd like a bit of reciprocity, rather than having people plucking at our bleedin' hearts.
