The deflation myopia mistakes a single issue for the whole picture. If the price of a house in the US is the one and only thing that matters to you, then it is likely true that we will see flat to down housing prices in the next few years. But if you have interests beyond that -- and who does not -- then you need to know a hell of lot more about the world than simply whether somebody paid too much for a condo in San Diego.

You for one talk about it constantly Mish

John I am sorry but that is total bullshit.

I want you to address your original statement that I replied to: "Many here on this board still say there is very little inflation"

Please do a search for anything that I have written that says the CPI is UNDERSTATED. You will finds lots of them.

Find one instance where I said the CPI was overstated or even accurate as is. If you can find one then I will apologize otherwise I expect an apology from you.

I have indeed talked about what is coming. I have never denied that the CPI is understated. Furthermore I have said many times that the the growth of money and credit is the problem and it is still going on. I do expect it to implode.

WHEN that happens it will be deflation.

I believe you need a lesson as to the meanings of
1) Overstated
2) Understated
3) When

So knock off the horseshit.

Mish
