The new FED chief is in charge only a couple months;
would he hand his little finger they would ripp off his complete arm.
I don't believe he's deliberately overshooting and he needs to establish his credibility / predictability.
To me it would be worse to make an "easing" comment only to reverse the position down the road and I don't believe he does not understand the time lag for rates to trickle through.
It appears that most commodities are responding (for example building materials); however oil once again crept up quietly almost 10% (last week I red Gottfried's "petroleum link" and it stated that oil price is not declining because of anticipation of higher prices / speculation).
