The only time the NY Times has ever seriously errored was when they bought the BS propaganda of Bush-Cheney before the rush to war and published false stories about Saddam's supposed WMD stockpiles. They had to retract those stories.

Jayson Blair was a very minor character who never wrote any important articles, just local human interest stuff. That was an embarrassment but not a reflection on the paper. There is no evidence the NY Times has ever been dishonest in its coverage. Zero. And you know it.

You're just defending corrupt politicians whose crimes and lies you want covered up by the rightwing propaganda machine.
That's un-American.
