The costs of the appeal plus suits against the other companies you have named will be quite a cash drain for TIVO. And don't forget the defendants have a lot more $ than the plaintiff. Also, these battles will take a long time to be resolved with many ups and downs along the way. So all in all I think your conservative covered-write strategy makes perfect sense IFF you think $6.55 is a reasonable entry. [This analysis assumes LT-oriented taxable account]
