If its al sadr against the baath/terror alliance we will need to stay out of the way and yes the entire mideast is destabilized. Iran vs Saudi et al. There was a story somewhere today that the sunni Paks were helping the sunni Saudis to catch up to iran who of course is the first recipient of the pak technology from khan. All the above is why its critical what our ambassador and our military are doing right now. Thats why i got so enraged at the articles that assumed the worst about our troops. If any of that were true it would be devastating. Its a big enough problem right now that some iraqis and certain leftys accept it as gospel. Not referring to you here--i hope. When bush says its a hard job, he is under not over estimating it. It could turn into vietnam if we stay too long. And it could turn into vietnam if we leave too early. Now theres a real conundrum for us to ponder. Mike
