No, they're not.

However, shorts are not as advantageous as many believe:

and, to be brief, they do not provide support. We closed at 62.3 according to my dashboard.

60.79-80 is the key level of support for todays close.

Now lets see if people are itching and scratching to get back into Apple.

Well we sure blew that away! 62.33

Today's action has to be considered extremely bullish. An intraday reversal on BIG volume, bouncing off the 200 day moving average.

I'm very interested in hearing what the technical analysts think. Really good looking chart today.

To use your analogy, AAPL may have just jettisoned the first stage of its rocket and fired the second.
