Iraqis are enraged about alot of things. Yes many view our presence as the cause of their misery. But if rummy hadnt mucked it up, it may have worked (am still undecided about that). Also in arab lands the blame game is always played. The pals blame the jews for their misery, sunnis blame shiaa and visa versa, arabs blame persians and visa versa. Everyone blames america and if america leaves they will blame lack of america. UGH.

I wouldnt worry about the Jordanians, they did a number on the Palestinians a few years back, they wouldnt be as GENTLE as we are if they felt threatened. jdn
