We very much disagree there, in many respects. You fail to understand preemptive war, which is accepted as legal and proper by in many quarters, including here. As much as I hate the lousy writing and goobledygook appearing in Wikipedia under "preemptive war," the following is partially instructive:

"Preemptive war is often confused with the term preventive war. While the latter is generally considered to violate international law, and to fall short of the requirements of a just war, preemptive wars are more often argued to be justified or justifiable. "...One hypothetical example of a preemptive war would be an attack staged against enemy troops, massed at a state's border, that were preparing to invade."

Allen, keeping it simple here, America was attacked, and our response as far as I'm concerned, fits the justifiable definition of "preemptive war."
