fresc I believe STRONGLY in public healthcare (even after knowing its inner working all too well) and public education... which does not go far enough.... I want a strong military... so no one can just walk in here... I'm all for gays having equal rights but get frustrated at the nomenclature and semantics... ie.. the term 'marriage' itself even being relevant to equal rights... I think the gun registry for long guns is a colossal wait of time and money... Well the registry was to cost 2 million bucks, and it cost 2 billion, maybe Paul martin could make up the difference? OTOH No one ever seems to agree with me that having the Niagara Regionals responsible for our borders from the edge of Hamilton to Dunnville is perhaps a tad optimistic.... I saw the truck for the Niagara regional Navy today..... Imagine no federal presence except for the unarmed tax collectors at the border......They tried to grab my mom for 2 12 packs of Canadian beer last week.... Imagine buy 12 cans and get 12 free, 24 cans of beer for $9.99..... Thank Heavens we live in Ontario, where the cheap beer is where you can get 10 beer for $10.00 We'd all be drunks......
