ted, I agree with your point, and that would be a great place to start. But, teachers wanting more money and communities trying to pass higher millages are getting the headlines, implying to me that they think more money is going to fix the problems. To some degree it will help but its not the total solution. I am by no means an expert on the subject......actually I am just starting to learn about it. So I am not sure what it will take to turn things around. I do know that the kids of the affluent are leaving the poorer kids in the dust esp. when it comes to the use of technology.
