Headless chickens run amok

at least you include iran in this category. Both the US and Iran didnt figure on this outcome. By the way kurds are sunnis and although persecuted by sunni saddam, they still havae more in common with sunni arabs than shiaa. Such an alliance threatens iran in a different way as they have a decent size sunni kurd population bordering iraqi kurdistan. This is all reminiscent of europe in the pre-WW1 era. If the sunnis and shiaa ultimately go at it, what does the US do? and who secures the oil? or can it be secured? Another tidbit--Saudi oil workers are saudi shiaa doing work that sunnis wont do. Iraqi oil is in kurd and shiaa areas in the south.
