carranza...that's an interesting article. I read the times on-line and I wasn't aware that they had carried an ad from the Sudanese government. Was there any sort of disclaimer with the ad?

I'm not sure what would have been the right way to handle that if I had been the times. It's thought provoking.

NYTimes reader is probably sophisticated enough to tell an ad from an editorial, especially a full page ad in the A section.

If an ad meets general guidelines, wouldn't it be censorship to refuse to run it?
