Most of those original purchasers, like my grandparents, in these remote subdivisons of the 60's didn't live long enough to see the areas finally take off in this latest boom. But these new age investors are now stuck with houses and huge debts instead of just a lot.. I doubt many will still be owning these houses even 3-5 years out. Bankruptcy reform will keep many hanging on as long as possible..
