TO ALL - skimming the posts since I have been away, I am seeing more taunts, group demonizing, borderline bashing, etc.

This is a public request to everyone to tone it down or take it somewhere else. If posters start to step over the TOU regularly, we will have to start trimming again.

The thread has a really nice exchange of views when folks aren't trying to bait or stomp on one another. Let's keep it that way.

PS Why do I draw the lines so narrowly? Because the thread just disintegrates into personal insults if I don't. And that's not gonna happen here, not for long.

Can you turn on a radio in ANY part of this country and NOT be bombarded with right-wing conservative gibberish???????????????

My husband brought his work radio home last night. The new construction around his office keeps him from receiving Rush and Hannity anymore. I wondered whether the radio had just moved to the center, and he could pick up liberal radio. He said, yes, it can pick up NPR.

I asked him to set it up in my home office, and he turned it to NPR for me. ;^)
