Reducing payments to medical providers has been going on for many years. Doctors have been complaining about it almost as long. It is just getting so severe now that doctors are becoming more restrictive about accepting new medicare patients. Most doctors will not stop seeing existing patients who roll over to medicare, but may not accept new medicare patients under all circumstances.

Medicare is going to blow a huge hole in the federal and in state budgets.
