Brazil ahead of USA while Bush is ruining it. He didn't do it by himself, he had lots of help from the unpatriotic, immoral rightwing, the fearful left and the utterly ridiculous media. He's driven the debt up 60%. Just by itself that's insane when Clinton/Gore had a 10 year plan to pay down the debt that even scared the bejesus out of Greespan --- remember that? That seems like a lifetime ago but it was just half a decade. Now the corporate media is reporting that Brazil, BRAZIL, will be energy independent this year because it is reaping the benefits of encouraging ethanol (from sugar, not corn) usage in its cars.
