He never expressed his point. I don't think that he has one that he can actually articulate.

Rummy and Saddam shaking hands and making deals to kill Iranians and the fact that Hitler was attacking both Russia and Europe does not mean that we sought Russia as an ally. It was an alliance of circumstances beyond our control and nothing more.

It's like trying to draw the correlation between Bush and fascism by linking him to Schwarzenegger who said that he admired Hitler and his father was in the SS, and now Bush has suggested that we change the constitution to allow non natives to be president, so that Arnie can run. Does that mean that Bush is a fascist? Does he admire Hitler too? Bush said it would be a lot easier if this was a dictatorship...so long as he's the dictator.

Maybe that is why he's trying to corral more power under the unitary executive? If you can't be a dictator...mimick one as much as you can.
