That might have been the place, whatever it was was near Charlottesville. I recall the vertical was ridiculously small compared to Rockies resorts. The day I was there, the rain must have kept many of the wait masochists away. It was just us cold, wet masochists there.

The resort in the White Mountains in Arizona was the quintessential definition of waiting. The resort was run by people who appeared to be from the reservation that owned the resort. They "worked" like they could be fired for slothfulness. The day started with a line for gear that was sureally long. It moved at a snails pace compared to every other rental counter line I was ever in. There was no part of the mountain that ran much better.
