Ate all that, yet seems Apple still has a serious hunger for chips...

Probably needed for the upcoming iMac nano to be announced at their anniversary celebration (please note: tongue firmly planted in cheek.)

Apple Computer to buy 20% of Hynix NAND through '10 - EETimes Online (AAPL) 61.17 : EETimes reports co has agreed to buy at least 20% of South Korean chip maker Hynix Semiconductor's NAND flash memory semiconductors until 2010 in order to flash for its iPod music player, according to a Bloomberg report, which cited Hynix' annual report as its source. Co agreed last December to buy 40 mln gigabytes of NAND flash from Hynix in 2006. Co agreed to increase orders by at least 180% a year until the end of the decade, the report says.
