re: Someone definitely needs to invent a Tivo for one's entire life. You can carry a voice-recorder or camcorder around, but life just doesn't seem to want to pause while you rewind one.

Can't tell you how many times I've picked up the remote, pointed it at my wife, and hit the mute button.

Reminds me of an episode i saw of Alan Alda's Scientific American on PBS......
