"12 days from now when AMD blows them away again," Couldn't agree more...We can reasonably anticipate, based upon INTC's 2nd downward revision to $8.9B that INTC's CPU's will take an $800M hit in Q1...Even INTC, in their most recent downgears alluded to market share loss to AMD as a contributor. What we don't know is just how much of that $800M is seasonal and how much is loss to AMD. The street seems to think it's all seasonal based upon the thrashing AMD is taking of late. Like you, I think the street has it VERY wrong as AMD server, A64 and Turion revenues are likely to increase significantly with Sempron holding their own.

Petz, Re: Unbelievably stupid when you realize> Yes. I figured on waiting 'till 2:30 and got held up a little on the bounce at 2:00. Bought a very few(10) May $35 calls at $1.75. Had bids in at $1.65 and $1.60 but didn't get any at those prices. Watching the stock, saw the dip and bounce, 1/2 hour earlier than I expected and just said "hang the cost". Went off to watch NASCAR trucks and build some paper frames for daughter. ;-)) Surprised the weekly Friday afternoon short covers didn't carry it higher... -tgp
