"Sorry to disagree, but the $149 and $287 are fully loaded numbers and the ones to compare. It is in the segment information published for Q4 earnings release."

Not to belabour, but we'll just have to agree to disagree then. I can only assume that there is some confusion around the wording in the release you refer to above.

Q3 release includes CPU operating profit of $209 and "other" of $80M, including $60M in bonuses, and is not included in OP of $209

Q4 release includes CPU operating profit of $287 and "other" of $80M, including $60M in bonuses, and is not included in OP of $287.

The Q3 and Q4 releases are consistent in their treatment of the $60M bonus, by including same in "other" category, not in OP.

The math in the above releases has been audited to earnings and eps, so again, there has to be confusion around the wording you refer to above.

In both Q3 and Q4 releases, hard copies which are in front of me, the "other" category is $80M in each and includes, in each case the $60M in bonuses.

If one takes out the $60M from "other" in each of Q3 and Q4, and places in Op, then revised Q3 and Q4 OP is $149M and $227M respectively.

If Q4 OP of $287M includes the $60M bonus as you suggest, then Q4 profit is $287M,if you perform the math, will come up $60M greater than the $97M that was posted.

By the way, I'm estimating $1.5M in Q1 revenues for AMD and operating profit of 23% = $345M OP less bonus of $60M, less interest and taxes of $20M less "other" of $20M for Net profit of $245M or north of $0.50 eps in Q1.

What do you think?
