I don't recall Dad ever mentioning Gulfport, but a lot of the stuff he did was highly classified, so perhaps he wouldn't have. He was an Industrial Engineer from Iowa State.

I went to the SeaBees center in CA, Point Magoo or someplace, and brought Dad back some patches (..which I framed..) and other memorabilia. They have a really neat museum out there documenting all the SeaBees accomplishments. I was out there in Pasadena at Mongomery Engineers doing water and wastewater plant design for a summer back in 77, and then in Oxnard for a while on a TDY project for P&G while I was working for them in Green Bay. Did some robotics in San Diego back around '82, also. Quoting Brian Wilson, "...'Round, 'round, 'round, 'round, ..I get around....

John :-)
