Ok to answer my own Q about RACK:

From their 10-K for 2005

Revenue. Revenue increased $105.3 million, or 96%, to $215.0 million for the year ended December 31, 2005 compared to $109.7
million for the year ended December 31, 2004. Revenue growth was a result of an increase in units sold, from 28,100 units in 2004 to 56,100
units in 2005
. The increase in units sold was primarily due to an increase in our customer base, including a significant new customer that
represented 24% of our total revenue for 2005. Approximately 65.2% of our revenues in 2005 were attributable to sales to customers that had
also purchased our products in 2004. The average selling price of units sold in 2005 decreased approximately 3% from $3,900 in 2004 to
$3,800 in 2005. Service revenues were 1% of total revenues for the year ended December 31, 2005 and less than 1% of total revenues for the
year ended December 31, 2004.

From their 4Q earnings release:
Total revenue for the fourth quarter of 2005 was $83.1 million, up 44.8% from $57.4 million in the third quarter of 2005, and up 261.8% from $23.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2004

Assuming (for this ballpark calc) that ASP's for ther servers remained constant, they sold ($83.1MM/3800 =) 21.86K servers.

Assumings 2CPU/server (heck they only sell servers and probably mid and upper mid end only!), and 90% of their servers being AMD- they used (21.9 * .9 * 2 =) 39.4K Opteron CPU's.

We know that SUNW pushed about SunFire 20K servers in Q4. Again assuming 2CPU/server for SUNW = 40K Opterons.

That's 80K Opterons there.

Ok, now how do we calc the total Opteron's sold by AMD from this data? Other folks have other #'s to plug in here?

TIA
